Congratulations to Rebecca Turnbull, who has been crowned the 2025 Women’s Singles Champion at Caringbah Bowling Club!
In what was a fiercely contested and high-quality final, Rebecca Turnbull and Candice Murphy showcased not only their skill on the green, but also, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. Both women have earned widespread respect for their dedication to the game, and their path to the final was a testament to consistent determination.
The final was played in front of a supportive and appreciative crowd, with every end bringing its share of brilliance. Despite the final scoreline of 25 – 15, the match was much tighter than it suggests, with many thrilling exchanges and clutch conversions throughout. In the end, it was Rebecca who edged ahead, sealing her well-deserved victory and writing her name into the club’s history books.
Candice, a fierce competitor and respected member in the club, played with her trademark resilience and class. Her performance throughout the championship was outstanding, and her place in the final was well deserved.
