2025 Caringbah Women’s Pairs Final
The 2025 Caringbah Women’s Pairs Final showcased a spirited contest between the pair of Candice Murphy & Maria Bettini up against Doreen Whitton & Jan Dunn. While the final scoreline read 32–10 in favour of Murphy and Bettini, the game was far more competitive than the margin suggests.
From the outset, both teams demonstrated great skill, with Whitton and Dunn applying consistent pressure throughout the match, forcing their opponents to play at their best and often holding shot until some great bowls turned the score in Murphy and Bettini’s favour.
Ultimately, it was the composure and consistency of Murphy and Bettini that proved decisive. Their ability to convert ends and build momentum in the latter stages of the match saw the scoreboard stretch out, despite the quality opposition.
Congratulations to Candice Murphy and Maria Bettini on being crowned this years Champions and to all finalists for delivering an entertaining championship match for women’s bowls at Caringbah.
