Round 4 Match Review
Grade 3
Caringbah faced a tough battle against Sylvania, last year’s Grade 2 side, who were relegated to Grade 3 this season. In a hard-fought contest, our Rams showed great resilience, securing a well-earned 58-50 victory and claiming a 9-1 result. Leading the charge was the rink of Skip Mark Willey, Jackson Boulden, Wayne Bolton & David Supple, who delivered a solid 23-15 win to help steer the team to victory to remain in 3rd position on the overall ladder.
Grade 5
Our Grade 5 players hit the road in an away game to take on Sutherland and continued their solid season with another impressive performance. In a tightly contested match, Caringbah came away with the chocolates, sealing a 63-56 win and another 9-1 result. The standout rink of Geoff King, Ken Stubbs, Bill Tuite & Diana Lloyd provided the spark, securing a commanding 25-17 victory to ensure the points came home to remain in 3rd position on the ladder.
Grade 7
Meanwhile, our Grade 7 team made the trip to Gymea but found the Goannas Green outfit too strong on their home turf, going down 68-47. Despite the overall loss, the rink Skipped by Geoff Bursill, Wayne Carey, George Mavros & Lynette Spark combined brilliantly to notch up a hard-earned 16-15 rink win, ensuring Caringbah picked up a valuable point to remain in 3rd spot on the ladder.
Well done to all our players – another strong round for The Rams!
