Caringbah Bowling Club Holds Its First Bowls Committee AGM
Tonight marked a significant moment in the history of Caringbah Bowling Club as it hosted its inaugural Bowls Committee Annual General Meeting (AGM). This pivotal event set the foundation for the bowls strategic direction in 2025, with members coming together to vote for key positions within the Bowls and Selection Committees.
The strong turnout and the impressive number of nominations reflect the commitment and enthusiasm of the club’s members & after a robust voting process, the following members were elected to serve in the Caringbah Bowls Committee:
• President: Colin Whitton
• Vice President: Barbara Clemson
• Treasurer: George Mavros
• Bowls Manager: Jackson Boulden
• Committee Members: Lynette Spark and Phil Bates
In addition, the Selection Committee saw the election of a dedicated team of members ready to bring their experience & expertise to the club’s selection processes:
• Selection Committee Chairperson: Jackson Boulden
• Selection Committee Members: Janice Dunn, Neville Hession, Phil Bates, and Kevin Oldroyd.
