MEDIA ANNOUNCEMENT
Caringbah Bowling Club Welcomes Bob Bartlett as Club Coach.
Caringbah Bowling Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Bartlett as our new Club Coach, commencing this week. Bob brings a wealth of experience to the role, having played competitive bowls for the past 15 years after an earlier introduction to the sport. Throughout his career, he has achieved significant success, winning Club Championships at Wiseman’s Park, Sutherland, and Taren Point, as well as securing the Senior Zone 13 Fours title. Bob has proudly represented Zone 13 Seniors and competed in Grade 1 at Wiseman’s Park, Grade 2 at Grandviews and Taren Point, Grade 3 currently at Caringbah, Wiseman’s Park, where he was part of the State Runners-Up team.
His bowling pedigree is exceptional, with a strong family background in the sport—his father having represented New South Wales on multiple occasions, further enriching Bob’s deep understanding of the game.
Bob will be available for coaching sessions every Thursday at Sylvania Bowling Club, with a dedicated new bowlers’ session from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, followed by Pennant practice from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Members seeking guidance or wishing to improve their game are encouraged to approach Bob for assistance. Looking ahead, once we return to our new Caringbah Bowling Club premises, a structured coaching program will be developed to cater to bowlers at all levels, ensuring the continued growth and success of our club.
We welcome Bob to the team and look forward to seeing our members benefit from his experience and dedication.
Thank You.
