🏆 2025/26 CBRC Men’s Pairs Champions 🏆

A great crowd was treated to a cracking Men’s Pairs Championship Final under lights at The Willarong last night, with some great bowls being played by all.

This year’s final saw Wayne Bolton & Mark Willey take on Robert Bartlett & Neville Hession in a fiercely contested match where the heads were consistently tight with the shot changing hands with almost every bowl.

Bolton & Willey laid the foundations early, winning 9 of the first 13 ends. Bartlett & Hession showed determination throughout the entire match, picking up a well-deserved four shots on the 15th end to double their score, however the momentum in the later stages wasn’t quite enough to bridge the gap. In the end, Bolton & Willey closed out the match to claim the title 19–11.

This victory is especially sweet for Mark & Wayne, going one better after finishing runners-up in last year’s event. Congratulations to Wayne Bolton & Mark Willey – 2025/26 Caringbah Bowling & Recreation Club Men’s Pairs Champions and well done to Neville Hession & Robert Bartlett on making the final.
