2026 Caringbah Bowling & Recreation Club – Mixed Fours Championship Final
The 2026 Mixed Fours Championship Final was played on Tuesday evening at Caringbah Bowling & Recreation Club in front of a packed clubhouse, with members and spectators turning out in force to witness a fantastic night of championship bowls.
The match featured Candice Murphy, Gail Huby, Wayne Bolton & Mark Willey up against Di Lloyd, Peter Stanes, Phil Bates & Jo Bates. Notably, Gail Huby was a late inclusion into Mark Willey’s side, stepping in admirably for Maria Bettini, who was unfortunately unavailable.
Played under lights in perfect conditions, the crowd was treated to high-quality, competitive bowls throughout the evening. Both teams displayed great skill, contributing to a fitting championship decider.
In the end, Mark Willey’s team proved too strong, running out deserving winners 22–11 to claim the 2026 Mixed Fours title.
